Prefab Construction-Coming Soon to a City Near You
Southern California’s Largest Prefab Built Affordable Multifamily Housing Project is near completion in just under 10 months near Redlands
Military families may want to take a closer look at the Multifamily Affordable Housing Projects being built in Southern California.
Southern California’s largest prefab affordable housing project is nearly finished in Redlands. Valencia Grove, at the corner of Orange Street and Lugonia Avenue was built more than 70 years ago. The entire community is undergoing a major revitalization in an effort to move away from the traditional public housing model towards a multifamily, mixed income family oriented housing community. The plan includes three playgrounds, and a multi-use community center. Construction and financing costs are lowered by using modular construction, and with the fast and efficient process of modular construction, families can move in much sooner than a traditional site built project.
These types of prefab affordable housing projects that are being built in Southern California contribute greatly to a city’s economic growth and job creation efforts.
The Partners in this project; HPI, Chase Bank, PNC Bank, USModular, Inc., The City of Redlands, Redlands Unified School District and the County of San Bernardino are working to revitalize this North Redlands neighborhood to create a vibrant community with facilities available to all residents of the City of Redlands.
Soon, the innovative modular construction process will be used in upcoming multifamily affordable housing projects in California. Your dream of having your first home can come true!
